The Outdoor Research Lucent Heated Mitts are the solution to keeping your hands warm in bitterly cold weather. The ALTIHeat rechargeable heating system uses Lithium Ion batteries for efficiency and low discharge rate keeping your hands warm and toasty all day long. All it takes to switch the heating on is to hold down the button on the back of the mitts for three seconds then warm hands await! The batteries have three different heat settings and zip away into their own compartments for safe storage. Warmth when the battery system has been turned off has also been considered with lots of Enduraloft synthetic insulation packed into the construction. This has been combined with Gore-Tex for waterproof breathable protection and to retain even more heat ensuring that every step has been taken to prevent heat loss. The goat leather palm is water-resistant and provides grip and a durable abrasion-resistant surface. There are plenty of useful features also packed into the Lucent Heated Mitts with a pre-curved construction helping to optimise the fit a pull-on loop to make putting them on easier and a handy clip to keep them together. The wrist leashes are removable and the cinch cord has a large tab to make grabbing it easier for adjustment when being worn. A mesh storage bag is included to help dry out the mitts when not being worn.
